The BMW F850 is the model with which the German brand fights in the segment of the medium-displacement trail and that was presented in 2018. In 2021 it was updated to receive the Euro5 homologation as well as more equipment.
The update to the new emissions regulations has not meant a change in the performance of its two-cylinder in-line engine, whose power stands at 95 HP, the limit to be able to limit thinking of the users of the A2. The BMW f800gs led headlight does not fit for the F850GS. It is a propeller that has two essential peculiarities: the first is two counter-rotating shafts and the other the crankshaft set at 270ยบ. The chassis is a steel monocoque with the engine as a supporting element. The suspensions use an inverted fork with 43mm diameter bars and 204mm of travel. In addition, it can optionally be equipped with Dynamic ESA electronic suspensions. In the braking section, the highlight is the pair of 305 mm front discs.
It is a motorcycle focused on dual use, hence the 21 "front and 17" rear spoked wheels. The fuel tank has a capacity of 15 liters but being a low-consuming engine, its autonomy is high.
Also note that this off-road approach of this model does not imply a seat located in a too high position, 860 mm, however a lower one can be optionally placed, in the same way that high seats are also available.
The instrumentation of the F 850 GS is analog, but you can add a 6.5 "TFT screen with the built-in Connected Ride system to connect the bike to the smartphone. The customization possibilities for this bike are very wide.
