A motorcycle that has very high limits and with which to have a good time hitting jumps and doing the goat. How we like it!

The first thing to make clear is that the chassis and engine of the Husqvarna 701 do not receive relevant changes. It maintains the 692 cubic centimeter single-cylinder engine with a maximum power of 75 hp. The steel trellis chassis, the suspension signed by WP or the Brembo brakes are also unchanged. So what's new?

Bowler Bulldog takes on Jimny and Wrangler Rubicon in a Quirky Drag Race

We've seen so many drag races by now that making one more interesting requires an extra twist. Carwow's teammates are quite good at it, as this very peculiar drag race shows, not so much because of the vehicles that participate (also) but because one of them, while his rivals run on the asphalt, does it through the middle of the field : the Bowler Bulldog.

At his side, although on firm and careful asphalt, he faces the fashionable Suzuki Jimny and the Jeep Wrangler in its Rubicon variant. Let's take a look at the participants:

Jeep Wrangler Rubicon: 2.0 tetracylindrical gasoline engine with 272 hp and 400 Nm of maximum torque to move its 1987 kilos of weight. There are lots of modification parts for Jeep Wrangler offroad, one of them can be 9 inch Jeep jl headlights, so popular offroad accessories.

Bowler Bulldog: supercharged 5.0 V8 engine with 550 hp and 770 Nm with a total weight of 1,800 kilos

Suzuki Jimny: 1.5 terracilindrico gasoline engine with 102 hp and 130 Nm, being the lightest with a weight of 1,135 kilos

The lineup seems diverse and quite disparate, with the Suzuki looking somewhat out of place. However, the little 4x4 is loved by all, it is never too much and, according to the guys at Carwow, it is there to see if it is capable of matching the Bowler on asphalt that mounts 'all-terrain' tires, not specific ones for off-road driving. road, so its traction capacity could be reduced.

We tested the Suzuki Jimny 2918: unique in its kind

The competition is based on three tests: a standing start, a pitched run starting at 30 mph and braking from 70 mph, always with the Bowler running on the grass. Will that handicap be enough to make up for the power difference?
