Do you know everything you need to take to do a 4 × 4 route? We tell you how to prepare your off-road truck.

FIRST, READY YOUR ALL-TERRAIN TRUCK.

The most fun of a 4x4 truck is going out and facing the obstacles of nature, but for that you must be prepared. We tell you what you should take on your first off-road route. For offroad accessories, you should not forget to install the Jeep jl headlights because a better visibility can keep you out of danger when you are offroad.

Before loading your Jeep, the first thing you should do is check its general condition: the engine, tires, brakes, etc. The last thing you want is to be stranded in the middle of nowhere. The second thing is to have a co-pilot, and better yet, other jeepers with whom to venture since going alone supposes a greater risk. Imagine getting stuck, with no one to help you out, and having to walk miles back on the road… doesn't sound like much fun, huh?

Once these two items are ready, you can start packing all the other items necessary for the journey into your 4x4 truck.

Make sure the gas tank is full and that you bring extra fuel, in case the route is too long. Also carry the other fluids your car may need, such as antifreeze, motor oil, water, and brake fluid. Additionally, charge an air pump or compressor to inflate your tires. In some types of terrain a lower pressure is recommended and you will need to put them in normal conditions again.

Your off-road truck may need repairs, so having tools on hand is essential. Consider: crosshead, pliers, jumper cables, screwdrivers, as well as slings and electrical tape.

Also consider rope or wires, in case you need to tie something up, a Swiss army knife, hand and mole-type lamps, in case the night catches you midway and you need additional light to that of your Jeep.

Nor should you forget to be connected. Bring your phone, radios and GPS loaded. Don't forget portable batteries or 4x4 truck adapter chargers.

Last but not least: bring a first aid kit, a change of clothes and shoes, as well as water and some snacks. You probably need them. If you follow these tips, your first route in an off-road truck will be a success.
