The Jeep Wrangler gets two more special editions before it finally says goodbye to this decade-old generation. The JK generation has two special editions called Wrangler Chief and Smoky Mountain, two very different interpretations that seek to cover more public of the well-known Jeep off-road.

The JK generation of the Jeep Wrangler is in the last stages of its life cycle before it meets its successor for 2018. But before that happens, the American firm has prepared two more special editions for the Jeep Wrangler, which are called the Wrangler Chief and Smoky Mountain.

Unlike its rival in this comparison, the Wrangler is available with two different bodies and also, both have the particularity that it is possible to remove the roof to turn it into a convertible off-road vehicle. Until a few years ago the Mercedes was also offered in a long and short wheelbase version, as well as as a convertible, but currently the brand only sells the five-door variant. It is offered with two engines, a 2.8 CRD diesel with 200 hp and a 3.6 V6 gasoline with 284 hp. Both are only available with an automatic transmission. By the way, like the star model, the American is expected to be updated soon with the introduction of the 2018 Jeep Wrangler.

Good Performance of 2021 BMW R1250GS Motorcycle

 The BMW R1250GS is the maxi-rail par excellence, a true motorcycle for traveling and a benchmark in its segment. It stands out for its boxer engine, its unmistakable design and its high level of equipment, which can be optionally expanded in multiple ways. In 2021 it is updated by incorporating as standard some driving aids that were previously optional, an engine with Euro5 homologation and, finally, a 40th Anniversary GS finish is added. The 305mm diameter front disc brakes are bitten by four-piston radial-mount calipers. The rear disc is 276mm. The wheels are 19 "and 17" front and rear, respectively.

The equipment of the R1250GS shines at the highest level, starting with an instrumentation consisting of a 6.5 "TFT screen in full color and incorporating the Connected Ride system that allows the motorcycle to be connected to the smartphone and to the helmet via Bluetooth. The chassis is a steel monocoque with the engine as a supporting element. The suspensions use an inverted fork with 43mm diameter bars and 204mm of travel. Also consider rope or wires, in case you need to tie something up, a Swiss army knife, hand and mole-type lamps, in case the night catches you midway and you need additional light to that of your Jeep.

Nor should you forget to be connected. Bring your phone, radios and GPS loaded. Don't forget portable batteries or 4x4 truck adapter chargers.

Last but not least: bring a first aid kit, a change of clothes and shoes, as well as water and some snacks. You probably need them. If you follow these tips, your first route in an off-road truck will be a success.
